B.L.O.G
Yes,it's been very long since I last blogged. And thats an indication of how demanding IIT life can be, especially to batti-people.No,really I've nothing against other departments and right now I'm definitely not in a mood to get into a debate as trivial as this, but someway or the other it's true ( O.K., if you are that hellbent then I take the full credit for the present messed-up condition of my life. But you gotta admit that I'm not courageous enough to inflict on myself 4 quizzes,2 lab tests,2 (re)minors and 1 major, all in the same f#@%ing week. Some undue credit must go to our revered dept. too). And to top it all I've been as ignorant to the situation as I've never been in my life.I dont know whether it's true or just my whimsical notion to place myself on the safe side, but this chill-maarna factor of my life has peaked sinced I got back from home after the Diwali holidays and its kind of growing day by day (what's even more bothering is the timing of it with all the aforementioned to-do list still in the back of my mind). I played on my PC for over 45 hours during the last week (it's a known fact that more than 20 hours of gaming a week gets one the gameaholic,game-addict tag.If you didn't know the fact, nevermind. You are normal, very normal). It's been just a week and I'm already to the last two episodes of season 1 of LOST and pretty hopeful will be done away with the rest in a day or two.The height of the whole situation although has happened today when after returning from a not so successful lab test, and very well knowing that I've got 2 quizzes tomorrow....sorry make that today ,it's 2:56 AM now, I'm still happily in front of my PC having played for the last 5 hours or so (it was a very gratifying experience, kicking some hard Ara-ite asses). And now blogging.
GOD!Help me. But I guess I'm beyond redemption now.
On a different note, this blog was conceived suddenly just a few minutes back when thinking of a game ( yes, currently my brain is somehow fully dedicated to a lone direction of thinking ) I recently played , "F.E.A.R - First Encounter Assault Recon ", I got this idea of "B.L.O.G".
It just came in a flash and I thought it was, well, good enough so why not pen it down. Its quite apt I guess.
I'm waiting for valuable comments.

You may hate me for this, but i think that gaming is perhaps the most retarded thing that goes on in iit.
[lostcause]I definitely donot agree with you.Yes, at this moment of my despair I am constantly cursing my gaming habit ( and playing even harder by the day) but that doesn't in any way make gaming fall under a 'retarded' category hobby. In fact it's one of the best and coolest thing one can do to pass time and enjoy oneself ( apart from ofcourse movies,novels....and maybe proscrastinating). But its definitely NOT retarded.gaming is not everyone's cup of tea, and it takes a lot of practice and dedication to stand tall among one's peers. It may sound preposterous, but really the experience is hell of a lot better than a dope.TRUST ME, its definitely better than chatting on a messenger,dozing-off in WIND-T or dating (hopeless)causes.
O.K., you can laugh now.
BTW , what about B.L.O.G? I was waiting for that!
Seems like i touched a raw nerve somewhere, well i believe "to each his own" fits the bill here.
B.L.O.G. sounds totally appropriate and the same ring comes out if you reverse it: Get Over Lost Bases:)
[lostcause]Yes.I'm really very serious about my gaming (my sem GPA's are bonafide evidences on that front).Ofcourse, gaming doesn't make one 'retarded' or for that matter a certain Mr.Bond, but as it is every coin has two sides .And at the moment as far as I'm concerned my side looks much greener than the other. But then ofcourse, color perception is a relative term, so I'm not gonna delve much in this anymore.
Masterly work on G.O.L.B,seems the perfect complement of B.L.O.G
